Important things about me:
-1.) I am a Christian
That means lots of things to lots of people, but to me it’s all about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Who, died for me when I was but an enemy. So that I might be redeemed to Him, by sacrificing Himself to the point of death on a cross. Glory to Him forever.
3.14.) I am a Husband & Father
Every day I work hard to lead my family. I have a beautiful wife, and two amazing sons. I am humbled continually by their love, patience, and support.
5.) I am a Budoka
I have studied martial arts for the last 8 years of my life, the last 6.5 with Jiyushinkai Aikibudo under Chuck Clark and Shinto Muso Ryu Jo with Phil Relnick. I am honored to be able to train with such amazing individuals.
4.) I am a l33t H/\X0ry sort
I love finding new ways to do things, or even old ways for that matter. I like tearing things apart and breaking them down. I am lucky enough to do this thing I love for a living with Trustwave SpiderLabs. I break applications professionally. In my free time I am studying ASM and reverse engineering software. Why? I dunno, it makes me happy in uncomfortable ways. First thing I ever did with a computer was break it– haven’t stopped since.
a.) I was a software developer
Making software is almost as much fun as breaking it. I am a super code monkey with .NET and can tell you things about the framework that by all rights I should not know. I have a deep and intimate (apomictic) relationship with the CLR. I have focused on the web for most of my career, but I like to play with whatever I can get. I can read and write c++, vb, javascript, php, python, ruby and Korean.
8.) I hate lists
I value relationships over bullet points.
4444.) I like user groups
I like to help run, partake and present at user groups. I help run the local OWASP Phoenix chapter, as well as running the windows azure group. I have presented a bunch at desert code camp, because I like to influence and subject future generations of programmers to my wild and crazy ideas. Like, pragmatism, for instance.
23.) I am badass mother who don’t take nothing from no-buddy.
Sho’nuff.
3^2.) I am a Microsoft MVP in Windows Azure.
Microsoft has decided to give me the honor of MVP. I hope to do them and the title proud.
